About the Team

Welcome to the Profile of CUA WRFC! If you are looking at our page, hopefully you are interested in becoming part of this great team! All experience levels are welcome! Most of the women on the team didn't even know what rugby was until they came to college. Though the sport seems intimidating, you will meet some of the nicest girls on campus and make one of your best decisions in college!

We compete in the National Collegiate Rugby Organization (NCR) and represent the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MARC). In the Spring the team travels to places such as Tennessee and Rhode Island to participate in fun tournaments. 

If you are interested in joining, or even just watching a game or practice to see what rugby is all about, you definitely should!!     Coaches

    Coach Kyle Prudence is in his 8th year with the Women's Rugby program. He serves as the Competitions Committee Representative for the National COllege Rugby Assocation. Kyle also works in the Financial Aid office at Catholic University. 

    Coach Courtney Nelson is a graduate of Catholic University and a former member of the Women's Rugby team. She is entering her 2nd year as a coach for the team.
